Need Help?

  • Should you have questions about ordering Bluebook items, contact us at orders@legalbluebook.com. We will respond as soon as possible, during weekday business hours (M-F, 9:00 AM -5:00 PM ET). Please note that we do not accept orders at this email address; domestic (US) electronic orders are only accepted through our website. International customers, please contact us at orders@legalbluebook.com to request pricing and shipping information.
  • If you have technical questions about using your Bluebook Online subscription, and do not find the help you need on this page, contact us at support@legalbluebook.com. Our capacity to provide one-on-one support is limited, but we will respond rapidly to service interruptions and programming faults in the website, and will also respond to requests for technical assistance to the extent possible.
  • If you have feedback or notice errors or omissions in Bluebook content or on the Bluebook Online site, please contact us at editor@legalbluebook.com. Unfortunately, we are not able to answer specific citation questions.
  • If you purchased a new subscription and are unable to activate it because the activation link expired, you may also activate it by completing the Forgot Password form. Resetting your password will also activate your account.
  • If you paid for a subscription or renewal but cannot access it, please try logging out and clearing your browser cache/history, and then log back in again. You may also try using a different browser (for example, Chrome, Firefox, Explorer).
  • If you want to pin a section for repeat reference, go to the Bluepages or Whitepages and click the Pin icon in the lower right corner of the page. Then you can go to your Pins, the last button on the left, and organize your pinned pages and return to them quickly when you need them.
  • Here are instructions for keys:
    • TO START A NEW SUBSCRIPTION: To redeem a key, you must start a free trial.
      After you sign up for the free trial, you should LOG IN and go to your profile subscription page. Scroll down to the bottom to redeem your key. Doing so will add time to your account.
    • TO RENEW AN EXISTING SUBSCRIPTION: To redeem a key, you must log into your account and go to your profile subscription page. Scroll down to the bottom to redeem your key. Doing so will add time to your account.
  • Here are instructions for Team subscriptions:
    • To get started, log in and click where it says, "Welcome [Your Name]" to go to your dashboard. In the banner at the top, select Users. Here you may start inviting users to your Team one at a time. Add a member by entering the name and email of the user. If you have a Team of 50 or more users, you may send us a .csv file to upload new users to your group for you. Send your request to orders@legalbluebook.com.
    • Once you send an invitation, your user will receive an email with a link to join the Team and set a password. This invitation link is only valid for three days; if the invitation expires before the user picks a password, the user can still activate their account by completing the Forgot Password form.
    • Please note the following:
      • The admin automatically becomes the first member of the Team. If the admin does not need access to the contents of The Bluebook Online, admins can remove themselves from the Team. The admin will still be able to manage the Team, but will not have access to The Bluebook Online content.
      • After you invite group members, you can view your user list and remove users. Users removed from the group will receive an email informing them that they will no longer have access to The Bluebook Online.
      • You cannot add more users than you selected originally. If you wish to add more users, you can purchase them by moving up into the next pricing tier at a rate prorated based on the number of days remaining in your subscription. To do so, go to your profile subscription page and click ADD SEATS.
      • Members of a group subscription cannot purchase individual Personal subscriptions while logged in to their group subscription. If they wish to purchase a Personal subscription, they will need to use a different email address. Once the group subscription expires, they can start a new Personal subscription.
